Back around age 10 or 11, I fell in love with foraging through the Goodwill and local used Bookstores for orphaned paperbacks. I'd read pretty much anything if I could get it for a quarter, and wound up with a quite few I probably shouldn't have - I got busted with a copy of Mario Puzo's The Godfather (which was confiscated), but it gave me a lifelong appetite for pulpy reads.
So I've been collecting the ebook versions of those long gone paperbacks (B&N had Jaws for their Daily Deal, like they knew what I was up to) and it's almost as much fun as digging through a pile of worn-soft books. Fairly sure I read all of those John Jakes' American Revolution books, but it's been a whole lot of years.
Behold the new stash!
